I bought my first rebounder in 2021 and wore it out. Now working on wearing out my second one. I also do inversion for 6 to 10 minutes, often before or after my rebounding.
Yes, full inversion. I originally was doing it for my back but in reading one of Bredesen's books, he noted that it was good for the brain so I just kept on doing it. I use the inverted time to process email on my phone. Always trying to optimize our full-time job of taking care of our genetics.
Hi Karin, I love my rebounder that I bought at your suggestion. Thank you ! Wondering if you have a special routine…? And do you do actual jumping versus stepping…I’ve been walking in place fast, but think I might need to “step it up” with what Im doing on it for maximal benefit…and yes pun intended …..:)
I start off doing jumping jacks for about 2 minutes to warm up. Then I add 3 lb weights and just jump raising my arms in front of me and to the sides and bicep curls. Nothing fancy. If indoors, I'd likely follow along with a YouTube rebounding class to toss it up a bit. The weights improve the cardio benefit!
Thank you for the reminder. I let my daughter take mine to college. I might ask for it back if she's not using it. It's an easy and fun way to get in a little cardio. Have you ever taken a Nia class? If not, I highly recommend. I've been doing it for a year and absolutely love it. Yoga, martial arts, and dance on one!
Thanks for this, Karin. I have a rebounder, but I’m not always consistent about using it, so I needed the inspiration. I completely agree with you as to the benefits!

Interesting. While I have an inversion table, I haven't used it in years. Do you do a full inversion?

Thanks again. Great ideas including the use of hand weights. Take care.
I love this idea and I’m going to order a mini trampoline from Amazon today!

Have not heard of Nia. Will check it out though! Thanks!
Thanks for the breakdown and reminder how important rebounding is. I wonder if jumping on a full size trampoline has the same effect?
I'm sure it does! I imagine a full size trampoline has an even greater effect as you bounce higher with greater G-force.
