I too started my Rapamycin journey with Dr. Green. Such a kind person. I love and totally believe your words of “the risk of doing nothing is greater than the risk of doing something ”!

Yes, Dr. Green was a very kind and humble man. I continue to follow his instructions and meanwhile, my PCP prescribes rapamycin for me. Lucky to have such a great, open-minded PCP. How long have you been on it and are you on 6mg?

I have been on it for 3 years, with just a few breaks here and there. I am on 6mg every Wednesday. I never have felt anything good or bad, I just continue in the hopes the good Dr. was right! My prescription recently ran out and I ended up buying the same brand Dr. Green had prescribed from an Indian pharmacy recommended on a Rapamycin for longevity group. I was wary but they had very good reviews and excellent customer service, so I’m feeling better about my purchase.

Hi Karin! Thank you for sharing all that you do. As a 4/4 I too am taking Rapa weekly but at 3mg. How did your doctor determine the 6mg weekly dose? I’m in NY. Is his office still seeing patients?

6 mg is a common dose for longevity. Dr. Green increased my dose to 8mg/week due to my age/higher risk, but I went back to 6mg because of consistently low lymphocytes. After his death, his practice closed since he was on his own.
