This is super interesting! I would love to know what this looks like for you in practice, especially mitochondrial support. I can take some guesses at other things but any specifics would be super helpful! Thank you.
I read Dr. Goodenow’s book which focuses on this distinction and I should go back and reread it. I guess I just got so discouraged especially with the supplement cost. I feel like he is closest to an answer to this distinction. https://a.co/d/8bdVsjq
I’ve read Dayan Goodenow’s book as well, (have also watched many videos and interviews he has done) and he deserves real credit for putting brain lipid health, plasmalogens, and membrane composition front and center long before most people were paying attention. For me, the takeaway from his work wasn’t “this one product is the answer,” but rather that membrane health, lipid trafficking, and cellular energetics are foundational, and there are multiple ways to support those systems. That’s why I’ve been trying to connect plasmalogens, omega-3s, phospholipids, mitochondrial support, glucose stability, and upstream modifiers like BBB integrity into a broader, more flexible framework rather than an all-or-nothing solution. The lipid trafficking problem isn’t the first domino, we can’t ignore the ones upstream.
Thanks for this! Can you please explain in an everyday actions how you support this
stay tuned....that's the topic in my next post!
Thank you Cheryl, I was going to ask the same question.
